The sight of another Black Friday Sale Now On makes my blood boil! Spending time and money preparing your website for the big sale is time-consuming and sometimes not worth the bother. However, we must keep up with our competitors, who seem to improve yearly. This and Google’s algorithms are the only reason I keep my websites updated with the Big Friday Sale.

Keep Your Customers Interested
The more engaging your website is, the longer people will look around it. For instance, keep your description accurate and informed. Also, to keep your website fresh and ranking high, keep your content unique to what you are selling or looking to get found for.
In addition, if you use pictures, keep them optimised for the web and alt-tagged. If you have several images for one item, each photo must have different alt-tags and be the correct size. Also, ensure your website is compatible with every device, including the mobile phone.
Keeping customers on your site encourages them to explore your goods and spend more.
Page Load Speed
Your customers have no patience; a slow website will lead to bounce-offs. So, optimise your website’s loading speed to keep visitors engaged. For example, compress images and ask your webmaster (The IT person) to leverage browser caching. There are also several programs you can buy that will keep your website running faster.
But it is the smartphones that Google is now getting most of its traffic from. Your website has to be 100% mobile-friendly to reduce bounce rates.
Keep your website updated with relevant content. This will benefit your SEO, keep your returning customers interested, and encourage them to return. In addition, have a blog for your site and share your insights and content with your customers.
